The Helianthus annuus commonly known as sunflower seeds is also classified as a genus plant in biological classifications. Ukraine, Russia, and Argentina stand as the leading producers of sunflower seeds, producing an average of 14.2, 12.8, and 3.5 million tonnes annually respectively.
Uses
Research evidence shows that sunflower seeds are one of the best sources of vitamin E, and are characterised with almost zero cholesterol.
